  1. Does anyone know what is being filmed in Jersey City today. It might also be filming over the weekend. They had no parking signs up but didn’t give anymore info. I saw some filming at a bar but didn’t see anything saying what was filming there.

    Thanks.

      • Nevermind I found the info!

8/24/10 – No Parking – Filming On Grand Street Will Utilize Police Car, Special Effects
There will be no parking on the southeast corner of Grand Street and Marin Boulevard due to filming which will take place outside the Golden Cicada, 195 Grand Street, for the feature film, We Are The Hartmans, on two seperate days, Thursday, August 26, 2010, and Sunday, August 29, 2010.

Signs will be posted to secure production parking from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for Thursday, August 26th, and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29th.

During filming a prop police car with sirens and lights will be used. Stunt people will also be on location.

  2. Hey everyone! A singer from the UK, Eliza Doolittle, is flying out to nyc saturday (august 28, 2010) to film her music video for her next single “Rollerblades.” If anyone knows where the location is, PLEASE let me know!!! 🙂

  3. Blue Bloods will be filming in Tudor City on Monday – August 30th. There are filming notices as well as a letter to the community. The letter gives a schpeel about the show and then states that they will film from 6am-8pm, but the film signs state from 6am-11am. Just a heads-up….

    • pardon me… there was a typo in my above post. the white letter to the community states that blue bloods will film from 6am-8pm, but the orange film signs state they will film from 6am-11pm. (typo above says 6am-11am). Additionally, the signs are now also plastered on East 44th St b/w 2nd and 1st ave (which is adjacent to tudor city).

  4. I’m looking for Arthur and there are trailers on lexington between 55th and 54th and there are signs that say “to set” and “loading dock” on 54th st. I haven’t spotted anything filming yet. Anyone know if its filming inside somewhere on 54th?? That’s all I can assume so far

  5. Just got back from 30 rock. Seemed like they were closing up shop, but im not sure. Both Tracy and Jack McBrayer (Ken) were on set. They were doing a car crash scene.

I met Tracy and got a picture with him. He was very very nice, and is so funny, even when he isnt trying. Great Guy.

  6. Saw Jennifer Garner on 54th street between lex and3rd. She said hi, but was busy walking to and from set. Her trailer is also on 54th on the north side

  7. Went to 30 Rock – Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer were on set filming a car crash outside of the Late Show. Tracy took pictures with fans, cool guy.

Also saw Helen Mirren, Russell Brand, and Jennifer Garner at 54th and Lex. They are filming inside the building at 610 Lexington. Russell Brand took pictures with fans also.

  8. Premium Rush was filming all the way up to 119th street, I was on the sidewalk when they shooting a bike-scene in the road.
Jeremy Fink is also playing in Central Park West.
I was at the Gossip Girl set, and Ed was there, but not for long.
Blake and Leighton were also there, Blake was wearing some kind of training suit. Leighton left the set around 4:30, don’t know if Blake is still there.

  9. I was also on set of arthur and saw everyone but Jen and I really wanted to see her! I waited a while for her to come out but then I had to take off. Hope they’re there Monday.

    • My gut says they won’t be filming on the weekend. Just to let you guys know I met Helen Mirren and she was very nice, I was shocked I heard she wasn’t nice, she signed 3 autographs for me, she personalized them though. Maybe because I caught her right after they wrapped around 12:30 am or so.

  10. Actually, according to someone on Twitter, they are filming this weekend, but then they have filmed every weekend, as that’s the schedule they’re on. I can’t read the locations on this notice on my netbook, but it looks like the same area. I can see Lexington and Third Ave and looks like 53rd, 54th, etc.

  11. This Monday night, there is going to be a pretty big production filming on the roof of 45 Tudor City Place. I don’t know what it is, but a group of about 50 people were in the lobby talking about how they had just scouted it last night and would be back on Monday. It took about 6 elevator loads to bring them downstairs while I was waiting for an elevator. It seems like there is filming in the building about once a week, which is really annoying. I didn’t know that it was such a commercial building when I moved in. They don’t always have signs on the street outside alerting anyone. That is only when the Mayor’s Office of Film and TV gives permits for parking. Most of the time, the productions in the building don’t have those though since they usually have their vehicles/RVs/ trailers idling in the 43rd Street cul de sac where they don’t need those permit,s since no one is allowed to park there. Since the building doesn’t usually notify the residents about these shoots except occassionally to a few people who are on their email list, it is hard to notify you all in advance, but chances are something is always being shot at this location. I heard an agent for the building bragging to some location scouts that the co-op makes an average of $70,000 every few months from these film shoots. He tried to get me to go up to the roof to have a glass of wine with him around midnight. He said he has carte blanche access to the keys, so I would tend to believe that he’s in the know.
