Thursday’s Lot List: Filming Locations in New York, Michigan, & more including ‘The Good Wife’ & ‘Reasonable Bunch’

Here’s a list of movies and TV shows filming around the country on  September 9, 2010:

Filming in Los Angeles:

Update: •Big Love is filming at the food court in Woodland Hills Promenade. (Thanks @ericvideo)

•The Closer is filming at W Jefferson Blvd and Arlington Ave in Los Angeles.

•HBO’s Enlightened is filming at Warner Center Towers.

•Horrible Bosses, starring Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey and more, is filming around W Del Amo Blvd and Hamilton Ave in Torrance. (Look for HB signs) FYI: This is a closed set, it appears to be an industrial office park. I also believe this is one of Keven Spacey’s scenes.

•House is filming at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel.  (Thanks @mj1985)

•The League is filming at 639 S Spring St, 6:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.

•The Mentalist is filming at at Santa Anita Racetrack. (via @goforlocation)

•NCIS: LA is filming at 220 S Spring St.

Filming in Michigan:

•Home Run Showdown will likely wrap up filming in Milford, MI today.  Base camp is set up at Baker Elementary School. (Thanks Dell Webb)

•Playback is filming at a home on Pebble Beach Dr  SE, Grand Rapids, MI. (Thanks Kathy) **They have wrapped at this location as of this afternoon.

•Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman, is filming at the COBO Center in Detroit. (Thanks Ken) FYI: They have been setting up to film at the the Grosse Ile Municipal Airport too.

•The Reasonable Bunch, starring Kate Bosworth and Demi Moore,  is filming at The Rochester Chop House in Rochester, MI through the end of the week. After that, they are expected to move to a private residence in Oakland Township for the next month.  Signs say ‘Elliot’.  (Thanks celebsinthed, @AbigailMSU, and Nicole)

•Scream 4 is filming evenings on Clement between 7 Mile Rd and Main St in Northville, MI for approximately the next three weeks. (Thanks DG) Base camp is set up across from the Northville post office.

•This Must Be The Place, starring Sean Penn, is filming in Bad Axe, MI through 9.15. Here is a list of street closures for today:

-North Street between E. Huron and E. Woodworth

-Verona Road between Atwater Road and Priemer Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

•Transformers 3 has started filming at the old Packard Plant on East Grand Blvd in Detroit. Detroit Funk has new set pictures, including set signs, etc. If you catch them filming at the plant, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

Update: •Vamps, starring Alicia Silverstone, is filming at the Masonic Temple in Downtown Detroit.

Update: •Detroit 1-8-7 is filming on Fort Street between Shelby and Griswold in Detroit. (Thanks Dawn)

Filming in New Orleans:

•On The Road, starring Kristen Stewart, is filming in NOLA through next week. If anyone has any specific location information please let us know, thanks!

Filming in New York City:

•Arthur, starring Russell Brand, is filming around Pearl/Broadway at Wall St in NYC. (Thanks Anon & @emilyigarland)

•The Good Wife is filming on 6th Ave and 50th St in NYC. (Thanks John)

•Gossip Girl is filming around 116th/12oth and Claremont on Columbia University campus again. (Thanks LO)

•Law and Order: SVU is filming around Columbus Ave and 81st/82nd. (Thanks Pete)

•Premium Rush, starring Joseph Gordon- Levitt,  is filming around 93rd- 96th and Amsterdam. (Thanks @FraniMonster)

•Royal Pains is filming at  Milburn Creek Park, Freeport, NY again. (Thanks Mike)

•White Collar is filming around E 79th/80th and 5th/Madison Ave in NYC.

•The Onion Sports Network is filming in Howard Beach, NY.

•Blue Bloods is filming in studio (Broadway Stages, Brooklyn)

Filming in Pittsburgh, PA:

•Abduction, starring Taylor Lautner, is filming at/around 101 Bridge St, Brownsville, PA through September 12. Base camp is set up behind Sunset Discount.  (Thanks NikiMarieR) For the latest tips and information about the shoot from other fans, check out our Abduction Open Thread.

Filming in Shreveport, LA:

•Trespass, a new film starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman, is still filming around Caddo St and Edwards St in Shreveport.

Filming in Texas:

•The Good Guys is filming at South Side Stages, 2901 S. Lamar, Dallas, TX.

•My Generation, a new ABC series, is filming around 5330 Fleming Ct in Austin, TX.

  1. Here are a few I’m not 100% sure on:
    –Ride-Along is filming in Chicago Studios BUT it sounds like they will also be bussing cast and crew to another location so if anyone hears anything let us know.
    –Fright Night is most likely filming at Albuquerque Studios again.
    –Also heard yest. we heard that 30 Rock would be in studio for at least two days so I am assuming they are back at Silvercup today

    Anything in Vancouver or Atlanta? Jen Aniston’s new movie should be starting in ATL soon!

  7. Here’s some other random stuff:
    –Last night Scream 4 was filming Woodsboro police car scenes in in the Northville Downs parking lot,( 7 mile Rd & Center St.) David Arquette and Wes Craven were there, not sure if they will be back tonight but wanted to give the FYI.

    –Fright Night is def. still filming at Albuquerque Studios

    –Something is being filmed around the Hyatt on the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, CA. There is a stage set up around the pool and tons of trailers across the street in the beach lot with signs pointing to “base camp”

    –There is something filming on 7th st in san pedro around the 500 block

    via @JH_Stark: nm signs on street say “White Collar” filming now at 78th & 5th (11:05 am)
    via @glr1989: gossip girl trailers are on W120st and Claremont av. No one here yet. Crew is setting up.

  10. Walked by Gossip Girl set in between classes. There were about 9 numbered trailers but the ones that I recall are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 15, and I also think 12 (but I could be completely wrong about that last one). Sam Page is on set now. He was standing outside the set.

  14. I’m once more at GG set. Found the trailer but saw none of the actor. Sign is pointing inside a building for the set. Did someone see anything yet?

  18. By now I’m actually thinking about leaving. Here nothing at all happens. I’m bored & freezing. Doesn’t look like there’s happening anything anytime soon. It’s already been over an hour

  19. I wrote them down in the order of how I saw them when I walked past so yeah the two are beside each other.
    #19 is on other side of the street though. 12 too but I’m no longer sure about that one

  20. Svu trailers were parked right outside my building this morning;I saw Chris and marishka. I walked over to set which was a block away and saw them do several takes and wrapped around 1pm.

  32. I left in the meanwhile. Kate had the last scene of the day & it was just her on the phone.

    By now I know that Chace was on in the morning together with Blake.
    (***spoiler*** apparently in that scene Serena realized that Nate would be the better cheaporone… ***spoiler*** not sure for what though)

    What they filmed today is supposed to be for episode 7.

    I was told that this was the last day of filming & that they will continue next week Wednesday. Not sure if it’s true.

    • cheaporone for Blair but Blair ask Dan to accompany her to the party. Serena and Nate had a scene because Serena push Blair to go out with Dan. Vanessa is out of town. when I was in school of course.
