Sean Penn draws a crowd while filming ‘This Must Be The Place’ in Michigan

Today, Sean Penn surprised a quiet subdivision in Sterling Hieghts, MI when he arrived (with a full film crew) to shoot a scene for his upcoming movie, “This Must Be The Place”.

They used a 2-condo building for the shoot, using one condo as the actual location and the other for equipment.

Since the movie is set in 2008, the lawns in the neighborhood were decorated with Obama And McCain election signs.

Several neighbors also brought out lawn chairs and made themselves comfortable as they watched  Sean walk back and forth to set in full rocker garb (you can see him in a long, black wigs in the photo above).
