OLD TUCSON
Old Tucson is located about 10 miles outside of Tucson, AZ. It was originally built and used as a movie set for Western films. Several of the structures have been used in countless John Wayne movies as well as more recent films like Wild Wild West and Young Guns. You can now tour the buildings and get a glimpse of that Hollywood magic. It is a great way to spend a day, especially with kids. They cater to children, offering plays and other entertainment, often allowing children to get in on the act. Check out the list of movies made here, this is a very cool piece of cinematic history.
