‘Friday the 13th’: Tour Camp Crystal Lake in New Jersey

In the time of corona, when there are few live interactive entertainment options, it is great to see Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco embracing its place in cinematic history and welcoming fans for tours. Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco plays Camp Crystal Lake in Friday the 13th, the famous hunting grounds of Jason Voorhees. In recent years, the kids’ camp has offered tours of the movies’ most famous filming locations once or twice a year. But, this year, since the camp isn’t being used due to the coronavirus, they are offering tours throughout the summer and fall.

‪Friday the 13th, Part 1 Filming Location Tours include special celebrity guests from the Friday the 13th film series, a tour of the camp, and a chance to watch the movie outside, at the movie’s filming locations.

The tickets are pricy, starting around $189, but all funds go to maintaining the camp where scouts have spent the summer since 1927. There are also opportunities to purchase cool souvenirs, like bottled water from the lake.

Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco is located at 11 Sand Pond Rd, Hardwick Township, NJ. Tickets can be purchased here.
