Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is back in full force this week after a brief hiatus for the holidays.
Today, Tom Cruise was spotted filming a scene in Vancouver where he hops out of van to use a pay phone and then gets back in. His co-star Simon Peg was on set as well. Simon apparently isn’t loving the cold Canadian winter. Yesterday, he tweeted, “Turn the heating up Canada, I’m headed back.”
Currently, MI4 is setting up for a large scene at the New Trade and Convention Center, Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver. The shoot is expected to last through January 7.
If you stop by the set this week, let us know about it!
[Thanks to Christine at On Location Tours Vancouver (@OLTV) for the scoop!]
Update: The shoot is expected to take place on 1.6 & 1.7.
Update: MI4 is filming in studio today (1.6), tomorrow night they will be filming along Pacific Blvd. The Convention Centre will be used for the India scenes, they are still still setting up. (Thanks to @OLTV)

Another update for tonite, sorry for all the confusion:
@olv, update on #MI4. Filming set to go this evening at Canada Place oustide Trade & Conv Ctr
will there be any other locations around Vancouver B.C. where we can spot Tom Cruise or Simon Peg?
They are currently filming a scene at an empty building next to my office in the Shellbridge Way executive park next to the Sandman Signature in Richmond. They have a sign on the building that says ‘Sun Networks’ with some form of Indian writing underneath it.
thanks for the info!
