Here’s a look at what’s filming on location on Thursday, January 6, 2011:
Filming in Atlanta, GA:
•Contagion, starring Matt Damon, is filming at Emory University.
Update: They are also filming at the CDC this morning.
Filming in Los Angeles, CA:
•Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, is filming on 4th St (under 4th St Bridge, Santa Fe Ave. East to LA River) (6:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.) and Hewitt St, 2nd St. – 3rd St. (12:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.).
•Private Practice is filming at 225 ½ N Larchmont Blvd.
•The Spider-Man Reboot, starring Emma Stone, is filming at Taft High School in Woodland Hills.
•Bermanbraun Programming will begin filming a new Untitled Reality Show at 1101 Glendon Ave. The shoot will last through 2.6.
Filming in Louisiana:
•Breaking Dawn will return to Baton Rouge this week to continue filming, join our Breaking Dawn Open Thread for all the latest information!
•So Undercover, starring Miley Cyrus, is filming tonight at Coliseum St & Jackson Ave in New Orleans.
Filming in New York City, NY:
•Blue Bloods is filming on Varick between King and Charlton and on Charlton between Varick and 6th. (Thanks Stacy)
•Gossip Girl is filming in studio (Silvercup Studios).
•Law and Order: SVU is filming around 79th/80th and 5th.
•Tower Heist, starring Ben Stiller, is filming in studio (Silvercup Studio East, Long Island City).
•Man On A Ledge, starring Sam Worthington, is still filming in studio in Bethpage, NY.
Filming in Vancouver:
•Mission Impossible 4, starring Tom Cruise, is filming at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Major Update: MI4 is filming in studio today, tomorrow night they will be filming along Pacific Blvd. The Convention Centre will be used for the India scenes, still setting up. (Thanks to @OLTV)

I’ve never tried to go to a set of a show. I’m interested in trying to see svu. Do you know when/how long they will be filming? Or what would be the best time to go? Thanks!!
They will likely be filming all day, as anyone will tell you might get lucky and see someone right away or you might wait for a long time and never see anyone, there’s no guarantees depending on what they are filming, etc. Good Luck!
Is it worth going to Silvercup Studios? Has anyone had any luck seeing anyone there?
A couple people have had luck in the past but the last I heard they had beefed up security and it was difficult to see anyone.
Has anyone been recently?
I was there 2 nights ago…didnt see many big trailers there. Was hoping to see Ben or Tea. It was too dark to realize, but 3 people were walking towards me and one of them was Matthew Broderick.

Lights Out will premiere on TV 1.11.11. Will there be a premiere at any of the NY Theatres this week?
The premiere screening was held last night at the Hudson Theater.
According to casting calls, Blue Bloods will be shooting exteriors today. Call time for extras was 6:15am, so they had an early start but are supposed to be available all day.
Annie, do you know if any of the cast are scheduled to be on set today? Not sure what “shooting exteriors” refers to…. thanks!
shooting exteriors means they are filming outside.
Got it, I wasn’t sure if it strictly meant that they were filming scenery shots instead of actual scenes with actors.

Is there anyone that has info on Detroit 187???
I’ll send a tweet out and see if we can get any info. Originally they were going to wrap in Dec. But it is still listed as in prod on Michigan Film website so they must still be going after being picked up…

Thank you! My friend and I got there around 10:50 and we were in luck! We saw them film a cop car scene with Olivia and Elliot and then we saw them walk down the street to film inside scenes and then we saw them walk to their trailers. I didn’t get pictures with them, but I got some of them filming. It was so cool!
Filming info for NYC
“Friends With Kids” with Megan Fox & Jon Hamm, directed by Jennifer Westfeldt will shoot 1/13/11 t0 2/18/11.
“I don’t know how she does it” with Sarah Jessica Parker will film from 1/17/11 to 3/31/11.
“Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” starring Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock & John Goodman will shoot 2/1/11 to 5/31/11.
Law and Order: Criminal Intent & Season 2 of Louie are both supposed to start filming again in January, and Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire will shoot in February and March.
Tentative new wrap dates: Tower Heist – 2/28/11 and Men in Black 3 – 5/3/11.
