Today, what is believed to be a new image of the Arkham set (the jail that houses Gotham’s most dangerous criminals) for The Dark Knight Rises began circulating the web.
According to The Daily Blam, “The following image, which was left on the JoBlo.com messageboards, came with a caption from the poster: ‘My good mate who is working on set at cardington where it’s being shot sent me this. Not quite sure how legit this is, but we figured it’s worth a share. Perhaps it’s just a left over set from Batman Begins.’ Arkham was shown in Nolan’s first Batman film, but was not physically included in The Dark Knight. There’s no word yet whether Arkham will have a place in the new film, but with director Christopher Nolan stating that The Dark Knight Rises will bring his Batman film franchise full circle it is a distinct possibility the famous institution will be showcased.”
Cardington refers to Cardington Airship Station in the U.K. which was transformed into a studio for both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight is one of only two confirmed filming locations for The Dark Knight Rises (the other being L.A.).
What do you think, is the photo legit?
