Producers of the film “Still I Rise,” which will be filming in Pittsburgh from mid-May through early July, are currently looking for extras.
The movie is being produced by Walden Entertainment and is about “two strong women who channel their frustration into action, and transform an inner city school.” Though there is still no word on who will star in the movie, there is a rumor one of the leads may be played by an Oscar-winner.
Here are all of the casting details:
Fourth River Casting is accepting submissions for background artists for the feature film, “Still I Rise.”
“Still I Rise” will be shooting in the Pittsburgh area from mid-May through early July. Submissions for background artists of all ages are now being accepted.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW CAREFULLY. There are many roles available for all ages and types, but we have some very specific needs as well.
There is a special need for children who appear 8 to 12 years old for this project. Some children will be needed for only one day of shooting, but we are also looking for many who can commit to a few days to appear in classroom scenes featuring the main characters.
If you are the parent of a child who is or appears to be in this age range, please submit information as soon as possible. All children will be interviewed prior to casting.
