‘Rock of Ages’ Filming Locations in Florida on May 31, 2011

Thanks to our friend Rosy over at AccidentalSexiness.com, we got some scoop about today’s filming location for Rock of Ages, which also just happened to be the first day on set for two of the movie’s biggest stars, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand.

Rosy reported earlier today that Alec and Russell were shooting at Boomers, “a family entertainment center [in Dania Beach, Fl] that has bumper cars, mini golf, video arcade machines and a giant wooden roller that was the backdrop for what looked like a re-creation of the Santa Monica Pier.”

She added, I saw Russell Brand and his trademark wavy hair pop out during a scene and then I noticed a man beside him with longish hair that I could tell was a wig. As he turned his face to the side I realized it was Alec Baldwin!”

Though Rosy told us she wasn’t able to snap any pics, we did get a sneak peek at the guys in costume thanks to the movie’s director, Adam Shankman, who tweeted the above photo this morning.

This evening the movie has moved to Club Revolution in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Rosy is one of our favorite fellow bloggers so we’re so happy she’s on the scene in Miami to keep us all up to date as filming continues on Rock of Ages! Be sure to check out here full report of this afternoon’s shoot here and her first look at the movie’s set last week here.
