Our man on the streets in Toronto, Mr. Will, sent us a few more photos of Robert Pattinson on the set of Cosmopolis at The Lakeview Restaurant in Toronto.
Though there weren’t too many fans waiting for Rob yesterday, the ones who were there seemed to be true devotees as they waited all day under the hot sun in hopes of getting a glimpse of the star.
According to Mr. Will, “One Fan, after growing tired of waiting, finally approached Pattinson’s Handler Dean, asking if there was any remote possibility of obtaining an Autograph even. She however had been told by him, “Probably not – there’s too many people around”, shielding his attention-shy Client. In total there were six Fans in-waiting.”
Its surprising that so few people are checking out the locations for Cosmopolis, especially after the crowds that have come out in Vancouver, Los Angeles and New York on a few of Rob’s other sets.
Anyway, Mr. Will and his fellow fans did finally get their chance to meet Rob last night (and he even agreed to take a photo with them as you can see in the video above) making it all worth it:
Around 8:00 PM a glimmer of hope appeared as Pattinson entered his Trailer again for one final wardrobe change for the day – a change back into his Everyday Wear: a Stussy T-shirt, his Long Beach 49ers Baseball Cap and a pair of Jeans. He officially had wrapped for the day after a long, grueling day in the Heatwave which has hit the City. After flagging him over, we were shocked to see Pattinson actually respond to us, coming over to personalize Photos and Magazines for us one-by-one in his best possible Penmanship.
Check out Mr. Will’s full report and more photos on his website here! And discuss the movie and its filming locations with other fans here!
[Thanks to Mr. Will for sharing his story and photos!]
I think the guy said those 6 were the ones who were around the back that discovered where they were hiding Pattinson. I believe the others were around the front where it was blocked off.
I was thinking they were the only ones who held out and waited in heat…makes for a long day …
Really wish people would stop stalking his trailer, they moved it for a reason, so he could have more privacy. Let the guy have some refuge while he’s working for God’s sake. He truly is trapped by his fame.
Kay, you said it. Although Rob has always been more than tolerant of fans because “they usually behave”, he is being absolutely smothered by the paparazzi. This “Mr WillW”, or whatever his name is, is obviously not a fan. This scumbag vulture will go to any lengths to snap the next picture and make a buck. In this case, by using Rob’s fondness for his fans to get what the “press” wants. Sorry, but P-holes are not press, and should never be granted the same recognition, much less rights.
For all our sakes, let the man breathe. The world will lose much more than a “star” if Rob is the next one these d*cks are allowed to drive over the edge.
AWWW ANYWAYS HE IS JUST SO NICE!! I LIVE IN TORONTO AND I REFUSED TO GO AND STALK HIM! I RATHER BUMP INTO HIM AND HAVE A CHAT! I DON’T SEE IT HAPPENING, TOO BAD.
[…] is town filming his new movie, Cosmopolis, and while he’s been keeping a low profile, a few determined fans scored a meeting with Rob outside of Toronto’s Lakeview Restaurant where he was filming earlier this […]
PEOPLE DO YOU REALLY THINK HE IS GOING TO REMEMBER YOU? THAT IS PRETTY BAD, WAITING FOR HOURS FOR THIS GUY. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE ONE’S RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING MOVIE STARS SO UNACCEPTABLE TO THE FANS. EVENTUALLY THEY GET TIRED OF IT ALL, AND STOP FAN CONTACT ALTOGETHER.
