Updated: Filming Begins On ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 2!

Last week we started hearing reports that The Walking Dead was already filming their second season around Atlanta, but didn’t have a definite filming location until today.

Thanks to one of our Twitter followers, @m_collins5, we were able to confirm that The Walking Dead is filming on Hwy 20 near Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA today.

Update: Filming will continue at this location through Thursday.

The show is also expected to film in the Peachtree City and Senoia areas in the next few weeks.

If you spot The Walking Dead filming, let us know about it in a comment below or via email at olv@onlocationvacations.com! We can’t wait to see more of your zombie pics as the show continues filming this summer!

Also, Extras Casting Atlanta is once again handling all extras casting for the series, including zombies. You can find more information here.
