Justin Bieber supports Selena Gomez at the ‘Monte Carlo’ Premiere

Last night Selena Gomez, Andi MacDowell, and Katie Cassidy, walked the red carpet at the New York Premiere of their new movie, Monte Carlo.

But, it was Selena’s date, Justin Bieber, who really got the crowd screaming. It had been speculated he might attend the premiere (he was in town anyway doing press appearances earlier in the day) but no one knew for sure, so when he stepped onto the red carpet, waiting fans went wild!

Reportedly, the young couple sat together, shared popcorn, and held hands during the screening, just like any other teenagers would, only they had fans hanging over the theater’s balcony trying to get a glimpse of them.

Don’t expect anything to risque from these two though. MacDowell, who plays Selena’s mother, said she was impressed with how well Selena handles herself. “It can be really difficult but that was one of the things I was so impressed about working with Selena,” she said. “I was amazed; honestly she is just a great kid. Her mom has really done a wonderful job.”
