Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 just opened today and it’s already on track to beat the $158.4 million opening-weekend record set by The Dark Knight.
On Monday, the movie’s stars attended the New York City premiere at Lincoln Center along with the thousands of fans who waited outside for days just to catch a glimpse of them.

Another of our readers, Olivia, was also there and told us, “I was across the street with the rest of the fans who didn’t get wristbands. Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis, Alan Rickman, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe were all there.” It was also Olivia’s birthday, what a fun way to spend the day!
