Fan photos of ‘Castle’ filming at L.A.’s historic Barclay Hotel

Last week Castle stars Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion shot a scene for the hit ABC series outside The Barclay Hotel, located at 103 West 4th Street in Los Angeles.

The Barclay is a popular location for movies and TV shows set in New York City but filmed in L.A. (like Castle), so much so that the street signs around the hotel have actually been changed to look more like New York signs.

According to IAmNotAStalker.com, “The Barclay has the distinction of being known as Downtown L.A.’s oldest continuously operating hotel and is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. It currently serves as a residential hotel which offers affordable housing to its residents, many of whom have lived there for years.”

The hotel has also been used in CSI:NY, The Closer, 500 Days of Summer, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Catch Me If You Can, Armageddon, and As Good As It Gets, among others.

One of our Twitter followers, @evilvagenda, stopped by last week’s Castle shoot outside The Barclay and snapped a few photos of Nathan and Stana filming a New York street scene complete NYC taxis and a typical NYC hot dog vendor.

Check out a few of her photos below! And remember, if you have set photos to share, you can always email them to us at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
