As we reported, CSI: NY will shoot scenes for its September 23rd season opener in NYC, and according to the NY Post, that shoot will now take place on Monday in Brooklyn.
In the episode, viewers will finally get some answers about what happened to Mac Taylor’s (Gary Sinise) wife, Claire. Though it’s been known she died in the 9/11 attacks, the details of her death have never been clear.
The Post explains that, “Claire — played by Jaime Ray Newman — will be introduced through a series of flashbacks, detailing what all the CSI team members were doing when the WTC attacks occurred. Up until now, Mac’s actual experience during the tragic day has never been revealed.”
CSI: NY, which usually films in L.A., will shoot two special scenes at the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance on Monday (8.15) for the episode.
Sinise actually helped raise money to finish the wall in real life while his character will be putting together a celebration for the wall on CSI: NY.
