Kenneth Branagh is a man of many talents. He spent much of last year directing Thor in the New Mexico, then played Sir Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn (which premieres at the New York Film Festival October 9th) and now he’s jumped back into the role of Kurt Wallander.
Wallander is a BBC mini-series based on the popular Swedish novels by crime writer Henning Mankell. Here in the U.S., the series also airs on PBS’ Masterpiece Theatre.
Last week, Kenneth was spotted filming scenes for an upcoming episode of Wallander, entitled Dogs of Riga, at the Riga Centra Market in Latvia, along with co-star Ingeborga Dapkunaite.
Wallander can next be seen on PBS on October 3rd, 10th, and 17th.
