If you live in downtown Cleveland, OH, you may have noticed the occasional Detroit police car, bus or street sign around town as Cleveland has been standing in for the Motor City in the new film I, Alex Cross for more than two months, but now the film has officially moved to Michigan for the duration of the shoot.
Today, I, Alex Cross has their base camp set up at Cass and Grand River in downtown Detroit with filming taking place across the street in the Michigan Building.
The movie, which stars Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox, Ed Burns, Jean Reno and John C. McGinley, is based on a series of novels by James Patterson.
In addition to Cleveland, the movie also shot scenes in Akron. Below is a video taken on the movie’s set a couple of weeks ago:
