We recently reported that the new Bradley Cooper movie, Silver Linings Playbook, would begin filming in Philadelphia on Monday, and now it looks like we may have our first specific filming location for the movie.
Thanks to one of our readers, Damon, we found out they will be filming on the S. 200 block of Madison Ave in Upper Darby, PA, possibly as soon as next week.
They will be filming interior and exterior shots to two homes on the block, which are already being painted and prepped for the shoot.
The movie, which is based on the novel by Matthew Quick, stars Cooper as a former high school teacher who is committed to a mental institution for depression. When he is released, he tries to win back his ex-wife but ends up falling for his neighbor instead.
Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, and Chris Tucker will also star.
If you spot the movie filming in PA this fall, let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

he is filming in Ridley park today on Hill Side rd
thanks!
Robert Deniro one of my favorite actors!! Be nice to get a autograph on my Goodfellas poster!!!
This is happening two streets behind my house. HOW AWESOME!!!! Love De Niro.
They are filming right outside my house and I can’t get out of my driveway to get to the supermarket, dr’s appointments etc. Nobody asked me if it was okay, we get no compensation for the inconvenience. I can’t wait for these people to leave. I don’t care who they are, they are making life terrible. Don’t get me wrong, the people themselves have been wonderfully nice and do what they can, it’s the whole operation that should be done on a lot in Hollywood where they aren’t in the way.
Does anyone know what street he was running down with all the stores? It looks so famialer to me but I can’t pin point it in the few seconds they show! I missed all of this! I didn’t miss though when Bradley Cooper went to Hunts in Woodlyn for wings though! Atleast they weren’t forced to film in Upper Darby toward 69th st!
