‘The Bourne Legacy’ will film scenes in Alberta after wrapping in NYC

The Bourne Legacy, which is currently filming in and around New York City, will shoot several scenes in the mountains of Kananaskis in Alberta Canada also.

The shoot will last approximately two-weeks in December, though it is still unknown which cast members, if any, will be present for the shoot.

There will also be one day of shooting at Fortress Mountain, where parts of Inception were filmed in 2009.

The Alberta shoot will “involve a large special-effects crew.”

The fourth installment of the Bourne franchise stars Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, and Edward Norton.

As with the other movies, Legacy is expected to be shot at several other locations around the world, including the Philippines.

  1. Thank you Ms. Christine for the update. I am a big fan of all the Bourne Movies, books, and CD’s. Even though there is a nice cast for this I can’t support it because I think Matt Damon should be in it. He created the character and made him who he was. I Keep hoping they will scratch this and bring Matt back.

    Thank you again,

    Kenny
