Here’s a look at what’s filming on location Friday, October 14, 2011:

Filming in Alberta:

• Hannah’s Law, starring Danny Glover, is filming at the CL Ranch, Calgary.

Filming in British Columbia:

UPDATE: Fringe is filming at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver. (Thanks @MySecretKey, @susangittins, @linzbarker)

Filming in California:

• Finder is filming at the Del Amo Mall in Torrance. (Thanks Carolyn)

• Long Time Gone is still filming around E Main St & N Almansor St, Alhambra (base camp).

• The Dark Knight Rise is filming at  830 S Hill St, Los Angeles (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM).

• Argo, starring Ben Affleck, is filming at 202 W 1st St, Los Angeles (6:00 AM – 12:00 AM) AND 500 W Temple St (6:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

• Of Men and Mavericks, starring Gerard Butler is filming a big “paddle out” scene in Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz.

• Shameless is filming at 404 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles ( 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

• Good Christian Belles is filming at 132 N. Euclid, Pasadena.

• Perception is filming at 5th St., Rossmore Av. – Lucerne Bl., Los Angeles (7:00 PM – 2:00 AM) AND 606 S Plymouth Blvd ( 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM).

• Private Practice is filming at 495 Altadena Dr in Pasadena.

• Ringer is filming at 433 S Spring St (7:00 AM – 2:00 AM) AND  Frank CT., Los Angeles (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

Filming in Florida:

• Magic Mike, starring Channing Tatum, is filming on the Pinellas Bayway Bridge in South St. Petersburg.

Filming in Georgia:

• Call Me Artie aka Us & Them, starring Billy Crystal, is filming at Pebble Trail, Alpharetta.

UPDATE: Flight, starring Denzel Washington, is filming behind Mt. Zion church on Boulevard NE in Atlanta in an apartment building today.

• Neighborhood Watch is filming in the Echo Hill sudivision near Atlanta. (via @AJCBuzz)

Filming in Louisiana:

• GI Joe 2 is filming at the Fort Pike State Historic Site in New Orleans. UPDATE:  They are also filming at the Michoud Assembly Facility (Lockheed Martin) on Old Gentilly Rd in New Orleans.

FYI: There was also a notice in the NOLA paper that the Rigolets Bridge will be intermittently closed to traffic for 3-5 minute stretches through Nov. 18, 6 a.m.-8 p.m., for the filming of a movie.

Filming in New York:

• The 2-2 is filming in studio (Chelsea Piers, NYC).

• The Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, is filming in studio (Kaufman Astoria, Queens).

• Exit List is filming in studio (JC Studios in Brooklyn).

• Blue Bloods is filming around Front St and Beekman/Peck Slip in NYC in the afternoon/evening. (Thanks @carriegirl and all of our tipsters!)

• Nurse Jackie is filming in studio (Kaufman Astoria, Queens).

• Law and Order: SVU is filming around 55th and 5th/6th Ave, NYC.

• Unforgettable is filming in studio (Silvercup Studios, LIC).

• 30 Rock is filming in studio (Silvercup Studio, Long Island City).

•  Smash is filming at Eagle St & West St, Brooklyn.

• A Gifted Man is filming in studio (Silvercup East, Long Island City).

• A Bollywood Movie (English Vinglish) is filming at 100th and Broadway, NYC. (Thanks @Uji)

• Thanks for Sharing, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, is filming on 24th St between 6th & 7th in NYC. (Thanks @mianno)

• Person of Interest is filming around 41st-43st and Lexington/3rd Ave in NYC. (Thanks @RebeccaCecilia and all of our tipsters!)

• Gossip Girl is filming in Forest Park (Woodhaven Blvd & Forest Park Dr, Woodhaven, Queens) tonight.

UPDATE: Pan Am is filming in studio (Steiner Studios, Brooklyn).

UPDATE: Disconnect is filming in studio (285 Tuckahoe Rd, Yonkers).

Filming in North Carolina:

• Arthur Newman, Golf Pro, starring Colin Firth and Emily Blunt, is filming on Lake Park Blvd from Charlotte to Atlanta Ave, Carolina Beach overnight.

Filming in Pennsylvania:

• One Shot, starring Tom Cruise, is filming around PNC Park in Pittsburgh. For the latest filming locations and to discuss the shoot with other fans, check out the comments in our One Shot Open Thread.

• Silver Linings Playbook, starring Bradley Cooper, is filming in the 200 block of Madison Ave in Upper Darby, PA.

Filming in Tennessee:

• Stoker, starring Nicole Kidman, is still filming at the Hill Mansion on Post Road in Belle Meade.

Filming in Virgina:

FYI: Lincoln is filming in a studio- where they have built White House sets-  in a warehouse in Mechanicsville.

Filming in Massachusetts:

UPDATE: Ted reshoot taking place at Charles River Studios, Boston today. (Thanks @Syl_Lucarelli)

  3. So I’m still stumped about this Old Fourth Ward project in Atlanta. I tried asking around, but couldn’t find anything. They’re still all set up here today and a closer look at the signs say “Paramount Pictures”. They are filming in the upper level of an abandoned bi-level apartment building behind Mt. Zion church on Boulevard NE. After a little searching I found Paramount has been filming “Flight” here with Denzel Washington since on Oct 6th. Could that be waht they’re filming?

  5. Lindsay – I live a block from there, and yes, it’s Flight thats filming in O4W. It’s in production with Denzil Washington, John Goodman and others. This is the third movie/show filmed in my two block radius in the last year. First was “The Last Valentine” a Hallmark movie with Betty White and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Next was “Necessary Roughness”, a fabulous show on USA starring Callie Thorne. And now, Flight. Way to go, O4W 🙂

  10. NYC–“Thanks For Sharing” anybody know if this weekend’s 24th St @ Sixth Ave location is interiors, exteriors, or both please??? There was a Paltry exterior pic in the Daily News yesterday, but it might have been from days back, and often the newspapers lie by saying it is a recent picture.

    • actually heard they may not shoot on weekend, though signs go through weekend so I’m not sure, I will be in city tomorrow for NYCC, if I can I’ll try to take a drive by…

      • Will be at the Comic Con as well…cant wait for the Avengers panel…starting to like Tom Hiddleston as much as Renner 🙂 Will be interesting to hear your take on this years Con 🙂

  11. THE LADY WITH THE RED AND WHITE POLKA DOT SCARF AT THE ARGO FILMING IS REALLY ANNOYING AND DISRESPECTFUL. WONT EVEN LET US TAKE PICS OF BEN. HER OUTFIT IS SO RETRO………..UGH!!!!!

    • They can’t stop you, if they could paparazzi would be out of business. Take whatever photos you want while out in public, don’t let someone intimidate you.

  13. Was just over by the sets for SVU. They are filming in a restaurant for Set #1 on 55th Street. The other set wasn’t up yet.

    Trailers for Kellie Giddish and Dann Florek (Capt. Cragen) but none for Danny Pino, Ice-T or Mariska.

  19. Jess, most of the cast of Gossip Girl are strictly business. They don’t usually take pictures with the fans, with the exception of a couple of them. Plus, trailers are most likely in a parking lot near bandshell protected security.

    • From our experience, the GG cast is actually pretty good about taking pics, of all the shows we’ve covered over the past couple of years, we’ve def. had the most pics from GG cast and 90% of stories we hear are positive…they def. do have security and the def. do stay focused but they will usually talk to fans too if approached.

  22. I’m new to this – CSI Miami – are they likely to go on doing location shooting into November, or does the weather get too bad? How much notice likely for location shoots?
