Wow..I just moved to NYC and have been searching for a place that would let know NYC filming locations and other sightings. This is awesome!

Gossip Girl is filming in studio today.

I’ll try to contribute – I saw that Rachel Bilson will be at Macy’s Herald on 34th street on Saturday, 10/4, to launch her new clothing line, Edie Rose, from 2-4PM.

did ugly betty stop filming already? thats right infront of my school!

i think they stopped filming ugly betty already. i wanted to go too, but had to drop my boys off at school then go get an oil change, run some errands, now it’s too late. my husband works in downtown LA so I have him check out the locations everyday to warn me so I can driv eover. He checked out the Ugly Betty location this morning at about 9am and there was nothing going on then, check again at 11am and there weren’t even equipment trucks there anymore.

there ARE no parking signs posted for Sunday and street closures on 7th near Hope and again on 8th. Word is that Heroes is filming on those streets Sunday morning.

question? didnt they say ugly betty moved to ny for filming?

Explains why he didnt find them filming. I didnt know, it didn’t say and we have streets by those names too. There are ALWAYS film crew EVERYWHERE in LA so it gets confusing as to which production is which.

I went to 30 rock last week and saw a lot of people (andy samberg, will forte and also blake lively and ed westwick), but none of the women came out of the49th st entrance. I was dying to see amy poehler. Did she come out at 49th st when you saw her? and why does the host never come out that door (from what some people around me said). Where do they go?

Diva- I am sorry that is my fault, when I posted it I forgot to add NYC ( I am so used to NYC locations sometimes I forget to specify!)

Heather- Yes, Amy came out 49th when we saw her. The host doesn’t usually come out 49th- I think there used to be a parking garage or something under Rockefeller Center where they would drive people out from below (I may be off base and I am not even sure it still exists), But I am not sure how they leave now. The night we were there people were waiting for Michael Phelps and I don’t think he ever came out that exit.

For those who have been to Silvercup studios can you email me some info or even post it here about what it is like and where people may be able to meet the cast of GG. I know Ugly Betty, Fringe, and 30 Rock film there too, has anyone seen anyone from these casts there? Please let us know! Thanks!

hey guys i went to silver cup studios and i would have to say it was a complete waste of time. they are inside the entire time. I was there for a good 4 and half hours. and didn’t see anyone. the crew people are in and out constantly but no one from the cast. =(

i’ve been going to gossip girl filmings for awhile now and i have never had such an unlucky experience. when you find them filming on the streets in manhatten or even brooklyn they are walking around everywhere. i spent two days at silver cup all the way from jersey and i didn’t get to see anyone.

it was a very upsetting two days =(

hey guys I just wanted to let you know that today I went to bryant park on the morning around eleven am to check out if they were filming kings. they weren’t. still, on the afternoon I saw they were putting everything together so i asked and i was told they were gonna film around 8 at the public library. so i went at that time, and i could just take a glimpse at a scene they were doing until I was asked to leave. i didn’t see anyone I could recognise though. the guy I asked told be they had shot outside yesterday and i understood they weren’t gonna film again until a couple of weeks from now. anyone knows were gg is filming on monday? or tomorrow and sunday, if they shoot on weekends? thanks!

RE: GG- Just got a tip that they are filming 10/3 at 59th and Lex. but nothing yet for mon or tues and no taping this weekend, I’ll keep you posted, should hear something for mon this weekend.

Thanks christine for the gg tip! I have to say this site is incredible. If I didn’t find it I would have to search all ove nyc, brooklyn, and long island city for gossip girl. I did that in southampton but found them, and we found them in upper brookville, and roslyn. If you have any tips for tuesday or wednesday, that would be great! Thanks!
