‘The English Teacher’, starring Julianne Moore, begins filming in Tarrytown, NY

Last week a new movie starring Julianne More, Lily Collins and Michael Angarano, called The English Teacher, began filming in Tarrytown, NY where they converted The Canfin Gallery into Kirby Park Coffee and shot scenes in Phelp’s Memorial Hospital.

In the film Moore plays a high school teacher whose life takes a turn when one of her former students returns home as a failed playwright. After reconnecting with the student, Moore’s character decides to stage one of his plays at her school.

The movie also stars Nathan Lane, Greg Kinnear, and Nikki Blonsky. The English Teacher will continue filming in the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow area through next month.

Meanwhile, The Bourne Legacy will also continue filming in upstate NY for most of the week. Today they are filming on the Taconic State Parkway in Briarcliff Manor and tomorrow they will close parts of Route 117.

  1. And yet a wonderful film came out as a conclusion. Now everyone knows about this film and its problem is the coverage of the relationship between teachers and children. Sometimes teachers are too cruel. So now I read a lot of service reviews like Papersowl review at https://essayservicescanner.com/papersowl-review/ and it makes my learning a lot easier. After all, this film is an example of the fact that if children are forbidden to write something down or ask for help, they will not want to learn at all.
