Cuba Gooding Jr. & Terrence Howard attend ‘Red Tails’ Photo Shoot in Long Island

On November 19 the stars of the upcoming movie Red Tails took part in a promotional photo shoot for the movie at the American Airpower Museum on Long Island. The museum has been a popular location for several movies and TV shows including, most recently, Pan Am.

Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, David Oyelowo, and Nate Parker all posed in period uniforms and flight gear, using museum aircraft and vehicles as their backdrop during the one day shoot.

Red Tails follows several African American pilots in the Tuskegee training program who are called into duty after having faced segregation during World War II, so it was no coincidence that the museum was chosen for the shoot since it also has an impressive exhibit about the Tuskegee Airmen.

All of the actors seemed genuinely interested in the Tuskegee while they were at the museum and even were presented with leather flight jackets with Tuskegee patches after the shoot.

We also heard one of the museum staff members was quite excited to see Cuba so, before he left, he was kind enough to take a photo with her and her son!
