Yesterday, we reported that the Steve Carell/Jim Carrey comedy Burt Wonderstone was going to be filming in Las Vegas this week and today the Las Vegas Review Journal has new details about the shoot and how you can be a part of it!
David Anthony Casting plans to hire about 400 background actors to appear as Strip pedestrians, tourists and casino workers during Burt Wonderstone’s shoot Tuesday through Friday. If you’re interested in being an extra (and at least 18 years old), email your contact information and photos to castingburtwonderstone@gmail.com.
Among the locations on Burt Wonderstone’s four-day Las Vegas itinerary are the interiors and exteriors at Bally’s, plus downtown and exteriors on the Strip and downtown.
In the movie, Carell plays Burt Wonderstone, a jaded Strip headliner who finds himself fighting for the spotlight when rival Steve Haines (Carrey), a hip street illusionist with a penchant for dangerous stunts, storms the Strip.

My son is 17 and he is a student at B.I.H. Actors Studio here in Las Vegas. I don’t have a photo shot of him since they arrived. He has been told he looks like Taylor Lounter and one of the Ladies that actually gave him the opportunity to be in the B.I.H Actors Studio said he had the Ritchie Valens look.
