‘White Collar’ and ‘The Big C’ filming in Puerto Rico this month

As Royal Pains gets ready to take advantage of Georgia’s mild weather, it looks like White Collar will also be filming in a warmer climate this month.

Thanks to one of our Twitter followers, @LauraCollared, we’ve learned that White Collar stars Willie Garson and Matt Bomer are expected to get a jump on filming the show’s next season in Puerto Rico tomorrow.

According to CaribbeanBusinessPR, USA Networks will spend $2.2 million on the White Collar shoot in Puerto Rico, though few other details were available.

The series will begin filming in NYC again early next month.

The article also noted that Showtime’s The Big C, which is currently filming in Connecticut, will also film scenes for their upcoming season in Puerto Rico but, again, little is know about what or where they are filming.

If you are in PR and have any information about where either series is filming, or are able to take photos of either show on location, please let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com! We have many readers hoping o catch a glimpse of their favorite TV series filming in Puerto Rico!

  1. My family was on vacation at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico March 16-24th. During our stay they were filming The Big C.

  2. Part of the filming took place at Hacienda Siesta Alegre near the base of the El Yunque Rainforest. I was there for a wedding this evening and struck up a conversation with the owner. She gushed about how great it was and how she got a picture with Matt Bomer. It’s the same location “Royal Pains” used for the Cuban locations in the episodes “Medusa” and “Mano A Mano.”
