More details emerge about Royal Pains’ filming locations in St. Marys, Georgia this week

As we’ve reported, Royal Pains is getting a head start on filming their new season this week in Georgia. The series, which is normally filmed in The Hamptons, chose St Marys and Jekyll Island for their resemblance to the Long Island community.

Today, Royal Pains filmed scenes on Jekyll Island, at the the wharf and at the Latitude 31 restaurant. The island’s official Facebook page posted several photos from the shoot (including the above photo above of Reshma Shetty prepping for a scene).

According to Jacksonville.com, the show will movi to St. Marys’ Howard Gilman Memorial Waterfront Park tomorrow, Thursday, March 22, where they will shoot for three days, take Sunday off, and resume Monday for one more day. The hours of the shoot will vary, with two days starting at 7:30 a.m. until sunset and two days filming from noon until 2 a.m.

Royal Pains will also shoot on St. Simons Island’s pier, Neptune Park, and Casino (550 Beachview Drive, St. Simon) on Wednesday, March 28. The show’s vehicles will begin moving int toe Fun Zone and Postell Park parking lots at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday to set up.

Royal Pains will return to The Hamptons and their usual schedule in April.
