According to Patch, crews for Captain Phillips, starring Tom Hanks, will be filming on Concord Rd in Sudbury, MA today.
The shoot, which was originally going to take place tomorrow, will happen today at 1 p.m. and will include scenes with Hanks driving.
In addition, a shoot that was going to take place at The Wayside Inn in Sudbury has been canceled. There is still no word whether or not the scenes that were planned to be filmed in Sudbury’s Town Center will still be shot tomorrow or not.
Captain Phillips stars Hanks as real life ship captain Richard Phillips who allowed himself to be taken hostage by Somali pirates in exchange for the safety of his crew. Phillips’ memoir which the movie is base on, A Captain’s Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea, recounts his three days in captivity and his dramatic rescue.
