Earlier in the week we reported there was a possibility the Untitled Star Trek Sequel would move to the San Francisco area for a week before wrapping production.
Today an anonymous tipster sent us some more information about the shoot in Northern California. According to our source, Star Trek will begin filming scenes at the Lawrence Livermore Lab in Livermore, CA, possibly as soon as tomorrow.
According to their website, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory “has a mission of strengthening the United States’ security through development and application of world-class science and technology to enhance the nation’s defense, reduce the global threat from terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, and respond with vision, quality, integrity and technical excellence to scientific issues of national importance.”

StarTrek is set up in the empty lot (37.692282, -121.701500) in Livermore, CA – this is where their trucks are parked- near Livermore Labs (filming in Lab, NIF building) NO ACCESS
Time Travel….I hate time travel episodes.
I work there and they totally are filming, i have co-workers that are running elevators and such in there seeing people in star fleet uniforms and aliens! I’m gonna check it out tomorrow.
