Thanks to our amazing tipsters who have helping find Iron Man 3 filming in and around Cary, N.C. this week, we have some more scoop about today’s shoot.
Crews were spotted filming inside the Research Triangle Foundation, 12 Davis Dr in Durham.
One of our readers, Angel, snapped the above photo that appears to be Robert Downey Jr. arriving to the set.
Angel said:
“I parked at Bank of America [across the street] and walked over to the site. I did a few walk by’s to see if it was worth staying and decided to take a seat, I sat in the grass taking pictures for about an hour. During that time I saw either Gwen or her double leave, and I saw either Robert [or Guy Pearce] arrive. The security guys finally noticed me in the grass and pulled out their umbrellas to block me from seeing anyone arrive further, then a security guard named John came over to “babysit” me and we talked for about half hour. The Escalade carrying Robert [or Guy?] left and I was guessing I wouldn’t get anymore pictures, so I left.”
