Tom Hiddleston takes time to greet fans in Detroit where he is filming ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’

Tom Hiddleston spent much of last week filming his latest vampire flick, Only Lovers Left Alive, around Alfred St and Woodward St in Detroit, MI and we’re hearing he was been a perfect gentleman with the fan who came out to the set, or who have run into him at his hotel.

One of our readers, Susan, has been gathering photos of Tom with his fans in Detroit and was even lucky enough to meet him herself!

She told us, “Although he’s had a grueling night shoot all week, he’s been kind to his many fans who found his hotel and waited long hours in 100-degree heat to say hi. He graciously posed for photos and signed autographs. Also, [his co-star] Mia Wasikowska has spent a lot of time with fans, and toured Detroit. She commented on the city’s beauty. My daughters and I got to see Mr. Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska in costume and makeup [on Monday]. Let’s put it this way, these vampires DON’T sparkle. And that’s a very good thing.”

Thanks to Susan for sharing the photos she’s gathered of Tom in Detroit. Only Lovers Left Alive is expected to be in the city for about another week. If you spot them, let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com! You can see more photos HERE.

I also made where on the site to let the people who met Tom to tag themselves, so I can give them credit, because they certainly deserve it!

  3. […] coming or going. I didn’t want to approach him/interrupt him while he was doing his thing. Obviously, Tom doesn’t mind or if he does, the reports seem to be that he is very gracious. My decision had to do with respecting my […]
