‘Chicago Fire’ & ‘Mob Doctor’ filming locations in Chicago, IL on August 6 -8, 2012

Currently, the NBC series Chicago Fire and the FOX series Mob Doctor are filming the first episodes of their first seasons in and around Chicago and, assuming neither series is canceled, both will continue shooting around town through the end of the year.

On Monday, August 6, Chicago Fire is filming around S Racine Ave and 13th- 14th St in Chicago and Tuesday, August 7, they are filming around S Loomis St and W Taylor St in Chicago.

On Monday, August 6- Wednesday, August 8, Mob Doctor will be filming around W Roscoe St & N Marshfield Ave
Chicago.

  1. Wabash between Randolph and Wacker was closed off for a chase scene during the lunch hour. Don’t know if it was a tv show or a movie…

  2. There was a film crew setting up some camera equipment in a van on Columbus in front of the School of the Art Institute. Looks like they were doing some sort of filming while driving.

  3. The filming involved a motorcycle being pulled by a pickup with lighting attached to it, a Porsche Cayenne rigged with cameras, and a fire truck. I assume it was for Chicago fire. They were going in circles on Randolph, State, Clark, and Wabash.
