As we’ve reported, filming for Noah is finally underway at Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island where they’ve been building a life-size ark for nearly two months.
Yesterday, director Darren Aronofsky was spotted working on the epic biblical tale of Noah and the Ark at secluded location inside Planting Fields Arboretum. Logan Lerman, who plays one of Noah’s sons, Ham, and Madison Davenport who plays Ham’s wife Na’el, were also on set.

Noah is expected to continue filming at Planting Fields through the end of next month.

[…] On Location Vacations has set loose this new batch of set images from Darren Aronofsky’s epically-scaled retelling of the biblical story ‘Noah,’ featuring our first looks at Logan Lerman and Madison Davenport in costume. In ‘Noah,’ Ray Winstone will play the role of the nemesis to Russell Crowe’s titular hero. Emma Watson plays Ila, a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son, Shem. That role will be played by Douglas Booth, with Logan Lerman playing Noah’s other son, Ham. Jennifer Connelly plays Noah’s wife, Naameh. Anthony Hopkins is playing Methuselah, Madison Davenport plays Na’el, Ham’s wife, while Kevin Durand is playing a giant who helps Noah and his family. The likes of Dakota Goyo and Mark Margolis. Scheduled for a March 28th, 2014 release date, the synopsis for Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’ is as follows: “NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood.” […]

Good to see Logan Lerman in an Old Testament, since Logan is Jewish.
