‘The Hangover 3’ continues filming in Tehachapi, CA

As we’ve reported, there have been several sightings of The Hangover cast in and around Tehachapi, CA where they are currently filming scenes for the third installment of the comedy franchise.

Bradley Cooper recently stopped in at Domingo’s Mexican & Seafood Restaurant in Tehachapi, while the rest of the cast was seen having dinner at a local BBQ joint over the weekend.

Filming in Tehachapi began last Friday at Western Wind Energy and is expected to continue through at least Monday, September 24 at various locations including a seven-mile segment of Highway 58 east of Tehachapi between exits 165 and 172, Inyo-Kern Airport, and a hangar in nearby Mojave. On September 23 and 24 they will be filming at an undisclosed location in Mojave where there will be intermittent traffic stops for filming.

If you spot the cast around town this week, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

  1. The “local BBQ joint” they ate at is called Red House BBQ on Tehachapi Blvd. If you were going to mention one of those two restaurants in your article I would have hoped it was Red House, which is super tasty. Domingo’s… /EEK!/

      • @Cyndy: Excellent point (and I agree w/you regarding Pelon’s skills as a bartender), but — at least on the night I and this article were referring to — one of the gang had peeled-off from the rest and went to Domingo’s for supper while the others were enjoying fantastic Tehachapi cuisine downtown at Red House BBQ.

  2. I wasn’t sure that was the place that’s the only reason why I didn’t mention it by name, didn’t’ want to mention the wrong place.

    • @Christine: I gotcha. Red House BBQ is GREAT as are the owners, and I was glad to hear they’d gone to one of my very favorite places in town. Whoever suggested it to them did good work :).

  3. Hi fist of all I don’t know why u guys decided to film the movie in Nogales Mex. If Tijuana is nothing like Nogales. Its sucks that u guys are not filming the movie in the real TIJUANA MEX. that’s not original. U may just would of film it in Universal Studios and maid it seem like it was Tijuana.
