Tomorrow night Johnny Depp will make a rare appearance at the Barnes & Noble Union Square, 33 East 17th Street, in New York City.
The event will feature Depp interviewing Damien Echols about his new book, Life After Death. Echols is one of the West Memphis Three who were falsely accused of murder and sentenced to death in 1991. All three were released in 2011 in an agreement with the state of Arkansas known as an Alford plea. Echols new book is based on the journals he kept in prison.
Damien Echols in Conversation With Johnny Depp will take place Friday, September 21 at 7:00 PM. Echols will also sign copies of his book for those in attendance.
For priority seating (which is sure to fill up fast) you can buy the book at Barnes & Noble in advance and bring your receipt to Friday’s event.
