As we’ve reported, filming for Homefront, based on a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone that is based on Chuck Logan’s “Phil Broker” book series, began filming in New Orleans yesterday.
The movie follows an ex-DEA agent who relocates his family in the hopes of finding small-town tranquility, but instead finds himself in a war with a local meth kingpin.
The movie stars Jason Statham and James Franco (though Franco isn’t expected on set for a couple more week as he is currently filming As I Lay Dying in Oklahoma).
Today they are filming on S. Rampart St in new Orleans, signs say “Home”.
