Casting Call for ‘The Hero’, hosted by Dwayne Johnson, in Boston this weekend

This weekend TNT is holding an open casting call for their new competition reality series, The Hero, which will be hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in Boston.

The Hero is looking for people who can be the ultimate hero. Not the strongest, fastest or fittest, but real people who are willing to do what it takes, push their limits, and possibly win a huge cash prize.

The Boston casting call will be held on Saturday, October 20 at Jillian’s. If you can’t make it to the casting call, you can email the casting team at TheHeroTNT@gmail.com.

  1. I am a retired floorlayer who did 27 years of service and not a moment to soon, my wife was diagnosed on Dec.7, 2012 with Breast Cancer. I am her caregiver and her rock. She has completed her Chemo, Radiation and double Mastectomy and today is Cancer free. All she is waiting for is her reconstruction surgery.I have recently went back to work as a labor forman at a union floor store to help ease the stress of Medical bills. This last year was a sure test of our love and our faith, my wife’s cancer. we lost our home, and our d.ebt grew to be un-manageble. Now back at work and collecting my pension we are slowly paying off our debt, I.m not going to lie their are times I don.t think I can do it another day but with the love from my family and them saying that I am their hero I can.t let them down! Enough about my life here is alittle about me, I’m 5’8″ 210 lbs., 49 years old and bald. I’ve lifted weights most of my adult life, I could be Dwayne’s Mini Me!!
    Thank You,
    Ray Vargas
