According to Deadline, Mad Men is planning a (not so) secretive two-day shoot in Hawaii early next week.
The shoot will involve actors Jon Hamm and Jessica Pare (a.k.a. Don and Megan Draper) and a small crew that will head to Hawaii on Sunday (10/21). The scenes will be used in Mad Men’s season six premiere.
There’s no word in Deadline’s report about where they will be filming but we did find a recent casting call looking for extras for a TV show filming around October 23 in Oahu. The description for the project asks women to “leave their hair down so the hair department can see what they have to work with” adding, some “may need to have haircuts and/or shave facial hair”, for a 1960s look, maybe?
In the meantime, we know the show is currently holding casting calls, interviews, and fittings for the rest of season six which will begin filming in L.A. within the next couple of weeks.
