Across the Pond: Filming updates on ‘Jack Ryan’, ‘Grace of Monaco’, ‘Two Faces of January’, & ‘Third Person’

Over the past couple of weeks a few high profile movies have been filming in Europe, here’s a look at the details.

The Two Faces of January, starring Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen, filming is underway in Greece. According to one of our Twitter followers, @KarinaOure, the move spent a few days filming in the old port of Chania, Crete, Greece last week. They have also spent a few days filming in Athens but are back headed to Crete next week. The thriller centered on a con artist, his wife, and a stranger who try to flee a foreign country after one of them is caught up in the murder of a police officer.

Last week @AimaraAntoine spotted Nicole Kidman filming her upcoming film, Grace of Monaco, in Menton, France. She is portraying Grace Kelly in the biopic.

On Sunday, 10/21, The Untitled Jack Ryan Project, starring Chris Pine, will be filming in London’s Bloomsbury Square. in The movie has already shot scenes in NYC, Moscow, Liverpool, and its home base, Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, U.K.

Finally, Olivia Wilde is in Rome, Italy for the next few weeks to film Third Person with Liam Neeson. She recently tweeted, “Italy, hello. I’m in you for a few weeks. Thanks for having me.”
