‘Saving Mr. Banks’, starring Tom Hanks, will film at Disneyland for two days next month

Saving Mr. Banks, starring Tom Hanks as the one and only Walt Disney, will spend two days filming at Disneyland next month.

The movie follows the “testy” relationship between Walt Disney and Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers (emma Thompson) as Disney tried to obtain the rights to the movie.

Disney will block off parts of the Anaheim amusement park on Nov. 6-7 for the shoot, and though they won’t reveal any details about what or where they will be filming at Disneyland, they will disclose the filming schedule to guests as they arrive on those days so they can know what to expect as they navigate the park. Disney has also hired several park employees as extras for the shoot.
