‘Foxcatcher’, starring Channing Tatum, filming at California University of Pennsylvania Dec. 16-23

Last weekend there was a rumor the movie Foxcatcher, starring Channing Tatum, was filming at California University of Pennsylvania and it turns out the rumors were true, they were just a little early.

According to the University’s website, the Convocation Center on campus, along with a portion of the Loop Road, will be inaccessible from Dec. 16-23 while scenes for the movie are filmed on campus.

“The Loop Road will be closed from the Hamer Crossing to Lot 11, and the lower portion of Lot 4 will be closed to accommodate the film crew. Access to portions of Gallagher Hall also will be restricted on Dec. 19-21, and movie extras will be parking in the River Lot on Dec. 20-21. Parking areas will be marked.”

  1. Why not? Some of the best NCAA Division I wrestlers came from this tiny Pennsylvania State University school, including Charlie Heller from the early 80’s. Can’t wait for this film–I hope they don’t hold it back for a late release. We need movies with Actors instead of things blowing up!! This movie is going to make money for their investors! Enough of the cartoon movies and things exploding–let’s bring acting back to movies!

  2. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox
and now each time a comment is added I get three
e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Thanks a lot!
