Thanks to one of our readers, Ara, we’ve learned the upcoming Fox Searchlight film, Black Nativity, has set up shop in Harlem.
According to a flyer posted outside St. Luke’s Church, located at 141st Street and Convent Avenue in NYC, crews are working to prepare the location for an upcoming shoot.
Black Nativity, starring Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson and Angela Bassett, is based on the play of the same name by Langston Hughes.
Tentatively, filming is expected to begin on January 29, 2013.
