Open Casting Call announced for David O. Russell’s next project, starring Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, & Bradley Cooper, in Boston

As we’ve reported, David O. Russell’s next star-studded project will begin filming next month in Boston, MA and they are looking for extras.

The Untitled David O. Russell Project, aka American Bullshit, stars Christian Bale as a financial con-man who was caught by an OTT federal agent, played by Bradley Cooper, along with his girlfriend, played by Amy Adams in the 1970s. The couple was offered a deal provided they help turn the tables on other crooks and shady politicians. They ended up taking on a leader of the New Jersey state assembly, played by Jeremy Renner, among others.

Below are details for the movie’s first Open Casting Call, taking place on Feb. 16.

OPEN CALL FOR FEATURE FILM SET IN THE 70S!
Boston Casting is hosting an OPEN CALL for extra work on an upcoming feature film set in the 70s.

Please bring a current photo of yourself that we can keep
This project is set in the 1970s.
It would be helpful, however NOT REQUIRED, that you arrive in 70’s attire. For example, bell bottoms, vests, flower shirts, afros, side burns, mustaches, long hair, mini dresses/skirts, platform shoes, etc. You will still be considered for work on this project if you aren’t able to wear or bring this look.
We are also looking for extras with cars from the 1960s and 1970s. If you have an appropriate car and would be interested in doing extra work while your car is being used as a prop, we encourage you to attend the open call as well and bring a photo of your car.

Boston Casting is seeking period cars between from the 60s and 70s for a Feature Film!
We are looking specifically for people who would want to work as extras while their cars are used as props.
Job shoots between March and May- we are looking for people that may want to work anywhere from 1 day to many days.
This is open to both union and non union.
All shoots will be in the Greater Boston Area.
