Was Johnny Depp hanging out in Carnation, WA yesterday?

Facebook was abuzz yesterday with reports that Johnny Depp was hanging out in Carnation, WA, where he was rumored to be filming a scene for the upcoming movie Lucky Them, even though we can’t find any evidence he’s part of the cast.

The above photo, which has been making the rounds on Twitter and Facebook, was reportedly taken at Miller’s Carnation Gift Shop yesterday, just down the street from where the alleged film shoot took place, on Bird St in Carnation.

But, don’t start booking your flights to Washington just yet, according to the Facebook rumor mill, Johnny is already back in L.A.

Update: Thanks to livingsnoqualmie.com, here’s another photo of Depp in Carnation, confirming he was there, but what exactly for remains a mystery.

  1. Hi guys! We just want to be clear, the photo one of our members posted was originally found on FaceBook, posted as you know by the the Miller’s Carnation folks. We linked back to it and it has since been removed by the original Facebook posters after they were requested to do so. So, the question is, once something’s on FaceBook and it’s gone viral, and then removed, do we all need to remove it? Ya never know the right thing to do anymore.

  2. Hi Karen, thanks for bringing that to our attention, I wouldn’t worry about it at this point, I’ve seen on several other Facebook pages, and blogs, maybe the real lesson is don’t post anything unless you want it to be on the internet forever. 🙂

  3. This is a photo of my uncle and aunt with JD taken at their house in Carnation where they were filming a movie. They were told to remove the picture off of FB by Johnny’s publicist.

  4. Should you remove the photos or not, Karen? I think if you are asking the question you already know the answer. If the person in the photo and the person who unknowingly made a mistake by posting it asks for it to be removed,it should be removed. It is the right thing to do regardless of virility.

    • I removed the photos. That was more of a rhetorical statement. I always remove pics when the original source has been asked to remove them. I’ve run a Depp fan site for over eight years and I am always amazed at what people post, without prior permission.

  5. It was removed from my aunt’s facebook page because Johnny Depp’s publicist called her and asked her to remove it. His people trying to keep his appearance in ‘Lucky Them’ a secret. They said he was a very cool and he played my aunt’s guitar and autographed it.
