Travel Inspiration: ‘Chicago Fire’ and Lottie’s Pub in Chicago

Chicago Fire didn’t just film its first season in Chicago, it made the city another character on the show by featuring many of the city’s landmarks and lesser known neighborhoods in each episode.

One of the locations Chicago Fire used again and again throughout season one was Lottie’s Pub, located at 1925 W. Cortland St. in Bucktown.

If you tune into Chicago Fire regularly but still don’t recognize Lottie’s, it’s probably because it is called Molly’s on the show. The bar’s storyline included a fire and then a buyout by two firemen and a paramedic.

  1. I live a few blocks away, have friends right down the block, and we go there occassionally, always interesting how they ‘modify’ the place for the shoots. They film a LOT of scenes in our Bucktown neighborhood! Basecamp is often on Webster next to the Kennedy Expwy. It’s nice to see ‘us’ on TV : )
