Will Bradley Cooper attend the Upstate New York premiere of ‘A Place Beyond The Pines’ on Thursday?

On Thursday night a special premiere screening of A Place Beyond The Pines, starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, and Eva Mendes, will be held in Schenectady, NY, where the movie was filmed in 2011.

The event will take lace at Bow Tie Cinemas’ Movieland 6 in downtown Schenectady and it has been confirmed that director Derek Cianfrance, along with “select cast and crew members”, will be in attendance.

So, just who are these “select cast members”? Focus Features won’t confirm or deny which of the movie’s stars will be there but the the Times Union is reporting Bradley Cooper will travel to Schenectady Thursday “if at all possible”. His prescience at the premiere is reportedly dependent on his filming schedule. He is currently shooting the Untitled David O. Russell Project in Boston and if he is needed on set Thursday, he probably won’t make it. If he has the day off – it should mean a big score for Schenectady.

“Bringing The Place Beyond the Pines back to Schenectady to show it to the town that truly helped make it is both humbling and exciting,” Cianfrance said. “Schenectady is an amazing and inspiring community, and everyone on the production — especially those of us with family in the town — is so grateful that we had the opportunity to shoot there.”
