First casting call for ‘Transcendence’, starring Johnny Depp, announced in New Mexico

After much speculation about where and when Johnny Depp’s next project, Transcendence, will be filmed, a new casting call confirms at least part of the film will be shot in New Mexico this summer.

There little known about the thriller at this point, but we do know it will co-star Paul Bettany, Morgan Freeman, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, and Cillian Murphy.

EG Casting is hiring: East Indian, military, tattooed, etc (ABQ area)
Elizabeth Gabel Productions is currently in preproduction for a science fiction feature that shoots this spring/summer. We are looking specifically for the following:

East Indian
Military
Tattooed men and women
Hipster/cutting edge types

These are all paid positions, we don’t have the pay rate yet. As with most background jobs, it is not a full-time job with benefits. You may work many days or you may only work one or two.
