According to local reports, Dear Eleanor, starring Jessica Alba and Luke Wilson, has started filming in Boulder County, CO.
The movie, which is being directed by Kevin Connolly and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, is expected to film in the towns of Longmont, Lyons, Niwot, and Hygiene over the next few weeks.
On Saturday, May 18, and on Tuesday, May 21, the movie will be filming on Second Avenue from Niwot Road to Murray Street in Niwot. Dear Eleanor has been looking for extras for the Tuesday shoot, too.
On Wednesday, May 22, they will be filming on North 75th Street and Hygiene Road in Hygiene.
They will also film at Jesters, 224 Main St, in Longmont later this month.
Dear Eleanor is about two best friends who travel across the country to meet their childhood hero, Eleanor Roosevelt in the 1960s.

My maiden name is De Alba. My daughter is a broadcast anchor in Montana and for her on tv persona she is using my maiden name and goes by Simone De Abla. My niece is an looks very much like Jessica. Pretty sure we are distantly related. Family roots are from San Juan De Los Lagos in Mexico with roots from Spain including the Duquesa de Alba and current royalty very active in Spain.

I was amused when I met my friend who lives in Niwot for dinner, and she asked if I saw the big white trailers on the property behind her chicken coop. I told her I assumed it was related to the Psychic Fair that was going on in town that day, and she explained that Jessica Alba and Luke Wilson were filming in Niwot. I could help but think a movie filming and the Psychic Fair was somehow a reasonable juxtaposition. My next thought was given how loud my friend’s rooster, Frankie, is that mornings had to have been really challenging if the cast and crew had an early call.
