  1. They are filming “scenes at 2334 Adams Drive NW, Atlanta GA 30318 from Thursday, June 27 until Monday, July 1, 2013 (EXCLUDING the weekend). Filming will be focused on the abandoned park located at that address.” The whole street is closed so you can’t see much. Home base is at Events Unlimited on Marietta Blvd.

      • They are filming on Adams Drive at the abandoned children’s playground. Work has been sporadic due to the weather, but last night, Rocky woke me up at 4am and I saw them filming a scene in front of my house. Lights, cameras and crew all over the place. They had a German Shepherd Dog and they sent it running down the street. I didn’t see what the dog was chasing, but once the handler released the dog, and the the dog took off, the handler jumped into my front yard, where they had set up a lot of equipment (with my permission of course). The equipment has been sitting on my property for about a week now, waiting for the rain to stop and they have an off duty cop on Adams Drive watching their equipment 24/7. Hope to see some more scenes being filmed, but they don’t start work until after dark and work until very early morning. Everything was packed up and sitting where it has been, but at least I got to see the scene with the dog!

          • I spoke with Austin Harkey, assistant location manager, and he told me they are finished (at least on Adams Drive). All of the equipment and lighting cables have been removed, and he said to expect the release of the movie sometime next year. It will be called “Almanac”.
