‘Divergent’ filming around the University of Chicago & 600 S Wells St this weekend

View Larger MapJust a quick update for Divergent in Chicago. One of our readers, Mike, sent us the following filming permit information for this weekend. The shoot date is listed as June 15, but as we know the permit dates aren’t always 100% so I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up filming at this location on Sunday (or on both days). If you are familiar with Chicago you will know that this filming location (around 57th St and Ellis) is near the University of Chicago, too.

It also wouldn’t be surprising if they returned to 600 S Wells St on Saturday as they were originally suppose to start filming there on Wednesday but didn’t actually start shooting until Thursday. More details here too.

UPDATE: According to new permit signs outside 600 S. Wells, they will be filming there this weekend as well.
